IWC Portofino Hand Wound Eight Days, $6000 (LNIB with Box, Papers, Receipt, Warranty till Dec 2019) Fri, 13 September 2019 14:24

I am consolidating my collection, and this is a particularly hard one to let go. IWC Portofino Hand Wound Eight Days (IW510103) with a gorgeous silver-plated dial in an absolutely like-new condition. There is not a single mark on the watch anywhere.

It has the IWC in-house Calibre 59210 that has 8 days (192 hours) of power reserve. It actually has more than 8 days reserve, but power cuts out after 8 days so timekeeping is accurate. Normally, there is some accuracy loss as power winds down, but this does not happen with this watch. In fact, it keeps time to within +1s per day. The movement also has an indexless balance with four golden weight screws on the balance rim, a Breguet overcoil, and polished Côtes de Genève perlage! It is a beaut to look at, and pictures simply do not do it justice. It also beats at a very nice 28800 bph. It is of course manual winding, and has hacking seconds, quickset date, date display window, small seconds dial, and a beautifully accented power reserve display.

The case is flawless polished stainless steel, and has arched-edge sapphire glass, with antireflective coating on both sides. The strap is also ridiculously pretty, made by the one and only Santoni from Italy, and is genuine alligator leather. It is a dress watch, but is still water resistant to 30m! The watch is extremely thin at only 11.7 mm, which makes the 45 mm dial very wearable. This is truly an unbelievable creation from IWC.

As you can see from the pictures, the watch comes with everything -- box, papers, receipt, and even warranty till Dec '19. The watch functions flawlessly in my testing, but even if you find something is wrong with it, you can contact IWC by December this year when warranty will expire, and they will not only fix the issue, but also extend the warranty by another year! You cannot possibly go wrong with this one.

Asking only $6000 for this stunning timepiece. I will ship it 2-day with insurance CONUS for free! Payment via bank wire or PayPal (add 3% for regular payment). Tons of references on here as well as eBay. Please ask!
