Ferraris on Ice, Timing by Hublot: Lapland Ice Driving

Just below of the Arctic Circle is the village of Arjeplog with 2000 inhabitants. It is here that former test and race car driver Eric Gallardo founded the Lapland Ice Driving center, 50km of track traced upon a large frozen lake. Included are full scale reproductions of 4 legendary Formula 1 circuits including the Nurgburgring.
Extending its involvement with motorsports beyond its close relationship with Ferrari, Hublot is proud to have become the official timekeeper at the Ice Driving Center. And Ferrari has delivered several specially prepared automobiles for students to use during training. These cars are capable of reaching speeds of 200 km/hr on the ice.
Of course, more than exhilarating driving and precise timing awaits the participants. Snowmobile outings, excursions to the Arctic Circle and the opportunity to view the Northern Lights are not to be missed as well.
