BASEL 2010 – Lorenz for Belstaff
Tue, 23 March 2010 07:09
Ever since 1924, when it presented the world's first collection in waterproof, breathable waxed cotton, shortly after it had been set up in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, Belstaff has always combined technologically advanced materials with a unique style.
Today, Belstaff is celebrating more than 85 years of technological innovation and classic, iconic designs with the presentation of a collection of lifestyle watches inspired by its history and legacy. Belstaff watches, which are manufactured under licence by Lorenz of Italy, use Swiss made movements.
The 7-piece case (lugs screwed onto the carrure), is done in stainless steel and measures 40mm. The crystal is an AR-coated sapphire and it is water resistant to 100 meters. Dials can be had in white or black enamel, with applied Arabic numerals and markers.
Movement is the Swiss made ETA caliber 2824-2 with 25 jewels. The strap is an original Belstaff Burnt Brown leather, based on their racing jackets.
