so how did he tighten up the links?. did he replace the pins or middle links ???
The pins were replaced. Prior to sending it in, I unscrewed one of the threaded pins near the clasp and was very surprised to see how deep the wear groves in the pin were - but it makes sense given the symptoms of bracelet stretch. As the pin diameter diminishes, the links are able move/'stretch' further apart. Now, it's like a brand new bracelet and the watch is as well. (I sent it to Dallas in October for servicing but I turned down the recommendation to purchase a new bracelet).
