I'd go with the JLC Tue, 12 December 2017 23:11 Go to previous messageGo to previous message

After a lot of thought here's why:

1. Polishing. The JLC sector dial case picks up light much better.
2. The JLC is .5 mm thinner and .5 wider while maintaining the same lug to lug width. So thinner movement with a larger dial surface and the same lug to lug. This is ever so slight, but I have to give it to JLC.
3. Gold. Solid gold rotor on the JLC. Man, does that shine.
4. Alligator leather strap. I'm not the biggest fan here of the strap on either. But, if we are comparing the two I have to give it JLC for giving us that extra Alligator leather option.

As far as the automatic vs mechanical, sword vs baton hands, date function vs jumping second, etc... it's all relative to ones opinion so i'm leaving that out of it.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep. - RF
