I love a Rhodie dial but the PT RL's I have seen all featured a, to my taste, to dark/dull a dial.
I havent seen the WG BTQ RL in the metal but I think I prefer the hand-configuration as is used on your PT RL: rhodinated H and M hands and a blued steel seconds hand. I think it is aesthetically much better compared to the all blued steel hands as used on the WG BTQ RL - and the picture of the WG BTQ RL you posted proves my assumption - but also, having only the seconds hand in blued steel, seems more historically correct (IIRC a lot of Lange pocket watches use gold H and M hands and a blued seconds hand).
Regarding beat-rate: 18.000 bph is such a magical rhythm. Not only does it look very nice to see a sweeping center seconds hand jump taking ever so slightly bigger steps but the sound of the tick-tocking at 18.000 bph is so much nicer compared to 21.600 or 28.800.
