I just my first Seiko JDM, and .... Tue, 31 May 2016 22:47 Go to previous message

I'm not really sure how I feel about it... to be perfectly honest, I was a little disappointed, which really stinks because I was thinking that I was going to love this watch. I am not exactly sure what it is (or isn't) about it, but I thought I would love this watch a lot more than I am at this moment. Maybe it's just the feel of the bracelet, but the watch doesn't feel as "expensive" as I thought that it might. I don't want to use the word "cheap", because I know that it's not a "cheap" watch in that sense of the word, but it just doesn't feel like I thought it would. It also seems smaller than I anticipated. I knew the size - 40.5 - but to me it feels a little smaller. And maybe that is part of it too, because seeing the watch on a large computer monitor and then seeing how small it is in real life, could be a bit of a let down. I don't know. I am comparing it to the feel of my other watches, which are Swiss, and it just feels different. Maybe I'll feel differently after getting the bracelet sized to my wrist, and wearing it more; maybe it will grow on me. I love the dial though. I was going to get the SARB065 (cocktail), because of the blue dial, but overall, from all that I researched, this was a watch if higher quality, plus it had the bracelet, which was something I was looking for, and I got for only about $150 more than the cocktail so why not. But now I am having second thoughts.

Anthony
