Rolex Explorer II - My trip companion to Bhutan Wed, 23 March 2016 14:53 Go to previous message

Please check out my travel write up on the Lifestyle forum (link at the bottom). Meantime here are a few Rolex-related shots that I didn't include over there...

First off, my Explorer II was a perfect travel companion. It was great to keep track of "home" time each day so I knew when I could call back to the kids, my parents etc.

Our trip started in Bangkok where we spent three nights. We stayed at the Peninsula hotel on the Chao Praya river. Our flight landed early (just after 5am). I was happy to be picked up by the hotel's BMW 7 series (which sounds expensive but was actually pretty cheap).

Here I am in the back of the BMW (which had wi-fi!!). 0624 hours local, 1624 (prev day) back home
