Got this watch a few months back - and have been enjoying it immensely. It made me wonder just one thing - what took so long for me to get one?

Only complaint about it is the rubber strap it comes with...

But that's easily enough fixed. Have mostly worn it with a red perlon strap.

And here's where the ability to hack is important. Today was (per Instagram) #InternationalWatchDay1010. With the hacking seconds hand, was able to get the watch to (more or less) 10:10:10, with the minute and seconds hands stacked in the "Missle Hands" pose. Using some photoshop magic as detailed by Paul Delury, I moved the crown back into position for a more natural look.

Killer lume...

And a mashup...

To members of the Seiko Forum, the joys of a Seiko Monster are well known, but for me, it was a delightful surprise at how much fun and value is packed into a sub $200 watch!
