HYT at SalonQP... Tue, 18 November 2014 16:45 Go to previous message

Hi All,

Another set of images from SalonQP, this time the weird and wacky creations of HYT Watches. Some here will be familiar with the brand what with our very own Amr Sindi giving us a wonderfully detailed post about the brand (with more eloquence and insight than I could possibly go into this evening) a year back.

I have to say that before the show I was completely unconvinced by these watches and while I am still sceptical about the readability of the actual design, boy did they all put a smile on my face especially the day-glo green one. And putting a smile on your face is basically what this hobby is all about, right?!?

They are all large watches at 48mm and nearly 18mm in height, but if you have gargantuan wrists (like mine) then you're golden. Oh, one more thing, you do need about $55,000 to get into the club at the entry level.........

So, without further ado, here's the eye candy...

Here's the Dracula model Jorge posted about previously...

Here's a very special model, the H2 no 1 of 50. Yours for $129,000 or $190,000 in titanium and platinum...

There's absolutely no doubting the quality and craftsmanship on offer with these timepieces, as the images testify, they are lovely to behold.

Thanks go out to Cloé Biessy at HYT for giving me unrestricted access to the watches on offer and all information, too.

Best,

Alex
