everyday wearer?

As you may have seen I have the silver dial version. Would you wear this watch everyday as a daily beater? I have too much, I guess, concern, over the soft platinum case and sharp lines and flat surfaces which protrude. Seems like the case would show a lot of marks in short order with regular wear.
