15400 RO - Black or White Dial? Fri, 04 July 2014 10:49 Go to previous message

Question to all the AP RO 15400 / 15300 owners, which dial color do you prefer - White or Black?

I am looking to purchase one soon but not able to make up my mind. I would wear the RO with suits for work, and even casual/daily wear.

Currently these are the watches/dial colors I have in my rotation:

Rolex Sub C (black dial), IWC Portuguese 5001 (black dial), JLC Reverso Duo (Silver/Black dial), UN MMC 43mm (White dial), Tag Monaco (Blue Dial) and Heuer Carrera (silver dial), Mont Blanc TW (black dial).

Would the AP RO black dial somewhat 'duplicate' the Rolex Sub since they both are brushed finish with black dial?

Below is a picture of the white and black dial side by side on my wrist(apologize for blurry mobile picture). Also wanted your input if the 15400 seems is too large for my wrist (close to 7 inch) or would 15300 fit better (I have not been able to try on a 15300 to compare)?

I welcome your opinions and feedback as I want to make sure I am making the right decision.

Thank you!

Rob
