Third year warranty question

Hi all,

Thanks for the big welcome earlier everyone!

I'm about to take delivery of my first AP:-) Just picked a Diver up on the SC and it is still within it's 2 year warranty. Despite my not being the original owner, am I eligible to apply for the third year of warranty assuming I do it before the 24 months run out and I have the warranty booklet?
