An Ode to a 320 Fri, 08 March 2013 06:45 Go to previous message

This time last year I was so happy! I was gonna get my first PAM. TBH, and some here may recall, it wasn't a choice I made on a whim. I did my homework and then some! And to make matters worse, hanging out here at TZ, I had started to learn about JLC, Zenith, and GP. So, I was thinking do I keep an open mind or just stick to the watch I had "settled" on?

Well, I tried on a number of offerings from JLC, Zenith, and so on...and even Rolex. And nothing sang to me. When I put my 320 on my wrist WOW! That was it, I was a goner!

Here I am bringing my "baby" home:

And thar she blows!

Everything about it just says "You're the one!" GMT, 44mm, the 1950s case design, the PR on the back, 72 hours automatic, and the ease to change straps. Oh, yeah, straps and more straps!!!

From French canvas to ammos to gators (three different colors) and simple rubber, the 320 looks good wearing anything and for that I also love it! Functional, versatile, and just great at keeping time, too! After wearing him about 320 days in the past year, I am happy to see he is always about +5 seconds a day - wonderful!!

And thanks for reading and putting up with this "ode". But as it is our one-year anniversary, how could I not share? ;-)

HAGWE,

Eric

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
