AP 15400 Durability Thu, 28 February 2013 10:51 Go to previous message

I am considering a Royal Oak, but some of the reviews I have read say that it is is not very durable and has limited water resistance. However; I am drawn to the classic design, quality and historical significance of the Royal Oak. Because I like the rugged looks and the ability to put up with everyday life without a hitch, my collection is made up of various sport models. Am I over thinking it or can the Royal Oak put up with most activities?

I am also considering the Jaeger Le Coultre Tribute to Deep Sea American; so, if any one has experience with one or both pieces and would like to offer their thoughts it would be appreciated.

Thank You
