Just Got My SBGA003 BNIB and it has an extra "G"

I got this watch a few days ago from an authorized dealer. I ordered the SBGA003 and specified "Black Dial".
The bar code sticker on the box, above the serial number says: SBGA003G. I never saw that extra "G" there at the end, before I ordered the watch. I did quite a bit of research on the internet on this watch and that's the first I've seen that extra "G".
Needless to say, I got the watch at the new price of $6,200.00 and paid a pretty penny.
What I'm noticing is that the dial is not a glossy jet black, like I expected. In fact, in direct sunlight, or at an angle in room light, it is almost a gray type of dial. I'm really starting to wonder if the "G" there at the end stands for "Gray"!!
Also, for those who have the SBGA003G, if you look at the dial carefully, you'll notice how the power reserve portion of the dial is a darker and glossier shade of black. But, that may be a visual illusion due to the "Sunburst" patterning for that portion of dial.
At any rate, I'm really starting to wonder if there are two different shades for the dial on the SBGA003, one a true glossy black (SBGA003) and the other a lighter shade of black (SBGA003G) approaching gray?
Anyone know?
Can anyone else confirm this about their SBGA003 or SBGA003G?
Clearly, when I ordered the watch, I wanted the jet and deep black dial!
Any feedback would be much appreciated. What's that "G" at the end all about?!?
