Re: Now that we're well into SIHH, what are you looking for from Basel?

I would like to see the following:
Magnetic Pivot:
I would like to see a few watches create with the newer magnetic pivot that was showcased in basel last year. We still do not know a price, or where they will put this technology in the line. It would be amazing to put this in an mid range Breguet...classique line very similar to the first design without the 10hz in red on the dial. Another very interesting place to put the magnetic pivot is in the Tradition collection, exposing the key parts of what is going on in the movement and also giving room in the case for the extra shock absorber that we see on the dial.
Mid Level complications:
They came out with the Hora Mundi last year (2 years), which is spectacular and unique, beautiful and bold. I hope to see more of these on the market. I would not touch this too much as it seems to be the perfect watch at this point. maybe 1 line extension with a different color.
Breguet needs something else in the mid level range that would be unique. I would like to see an annual calender of some sorts.
I would also like to see breguet remake their resonance clock exactly as is (pic borrowed from the web...sorry)
highlevel complication:
to secure themselves as a the top, they also need to create more complicated pieces. I believe they have been talking about the most complicated watch in the world for awhile...im waiting to see what they come up with.
vintage type XX.
They should create one version of "vintage" type xx. 2 subdial, no number on the bezel...maybe just flutted. clean black dial and nice flat numbers.
