Hello all. I've been a Timezone lurker for a few years now and finally decide to come out of the closet! LOL.
This is my first post on the Hublot forum and I would really appreciate some of your expert advice.
In August of 2011 I purchased a new Big Bang Evolution from an authorized dealer in Juneau while on a Alaskan cruise. At that time, the dealer said that it was a new item to their store and that there were no warranty papers or books to go along with it. They took my info and said they would mail it to me as soon as they received it.
I had totally forgotten about it until recently when I came across the salesman's business card. Their response was quick and I was put in touch with a manager of one of their stores. I sent off the information on the watch with a copy of my receipt and he said that they would get in touch with Hublot and have everything sent to me, and in no time all the paperwork is here, impressive!!.
I am told by a friend of mine, also a Big Bang owner, that a WISEkey card should be part of the package - but that has not been sent... I contacted the dealer regarding the Hublotista card and was surprised to hear that there is a cost of $150US for the card - Is this a normal practice? My understanding is that it should be complimentary to Hublot owners so we can gain access to the Hublotista Club...
I'm a little confused and disappointed, and would very much appreciate your insight on this issue.
