some thoughts about this new super antimagnetic omega Thu, 17 January 2013 10:46 Go to previous message

way back when IWC came out with an ingenieur that was magnetic resistant to 500000 a/m which works out to 6200+ gauss. although the watch kept good time when exposed to high magnetism, it was somewhat sensitive to temp changes.

hopefully this hi antimagetic movement won't come at the expense of something else. if not, then this will truly be one of the great horological breakthroughs of our time.

as a side note, this watch just moved to the top of my short list.
