As some of you know, I've become a strictly vintage guy, but this past week I decided to take the plunge and buy my first *new* watch in several years (the last, a small Archimede Pilot, didn't really do much for me, and I soon flipped it).
After a bit of research and internet oogling, I decided on the manual-wind 36mm Nomos Club with silver dial. I have medium-small wrists, and a Rolex 1016 Explorer is an ideal size for me (though I can wear a vintage Sub with no problem), so I thought this one would be the best fit. Also, I really don't like most date windows on newer watches, something about them I find distracting, so I ruled out the 38.5mm (and much pricier) Datum (despite its alluring display back).
It's a very elegant, yet sporty watch. I am also impressed by the quality of construction (an opinion apparently shared by other owners), much more apparently to me than with the Archimede.
Anyway, on to the pics! Can't have an incoming post without pics.
