A G-P Boutique Visit and a question to the Forum
Mon, 31 December 2012 16:57
On a recent trip to New York my wife and I had the opportunity to visit the Girard-Perreguax boutique on Madison Ave. Chip Henderson was a great host and spent time on a snowy afternoon opening up the cases and disucssing watches.
We came across a special edition 1966 that I fell in love with.
This watch was part of a special request of a very limited number of pieces. That said the 1966 Chronograph in general is timeless and very elegant. I feel that the contrasting dials on this particular model did not take away from that but gave it a little pizzaz.
I really like this watch. What do you guys think about it?
For reference here is another 1966 Chrono with standard sub dials
And my all time favorite 1966 Chrono in white gold with a blue dial
I would love to get your thoughts
Best Regards
Kevin
