Thoughts on Novecento Perpetual - Input needed

Does anyone experience with one of these? if so, what are your general thoughts on the watch?
I'd like to get an IWC perpetual but the current models are a little large for my wrist (~6.5" circumference), though the old model 42mm Portuguese perpetual actually fits relatively well. I'm concerned hat the Novocento will be too small and under-whelming. For reference, I have a 3717 chronograph that fits well on my wrist.
