New AP Addition! - Have a couple of questions for the AP knowledgeable. Wed, 19 December 2012 11:37 Go to previous message

I've been wanting a Royal Oak for quite some time. I absolutely loved the 15202, but I really need a seconds hand while at work. When I tried on the 15400, I was sold. The 41 mm size fits it nicely between my Nautilus 5711 and Rolex models. I really couldn't be happier with it!

I do have a couple of questions for you guys. #1. The 15400 is rated to 50 m water resistance. Is it okay for me to wear the watch swimming in the pool or in the shower? We live in Florida and I'm in and around the water all year round. I wouldn't wear it in salt water, but it would be nice to be able to jump in the pool or get it wet without worry. #2. I like to play tennis and play several times a week. I have never had a concern wearing any of my other watches on the court while running around and sweating out there. Is the shock protection in the 15400 good enough to allow for sport activity?

Thank you all in advance for answering my questions. The information I got from this forum was really helpful in my decision to buy the Royal Oak. I really do appreciate it and looking forward being part of the AP Timezone Forum.
