My old new Seiko Sun, 16 December 2012 14:15 Go to previous message

My Dad bought this Seiko Chronograph in the late Eighties, and after a few years he stopped wearing it, and I adopted it. I also stopped wearing it after a while.
And so it sat for many years untouched. A few months ago, I decided to wear it again, so I got the battery replaced along with the o-ring and now it runs again.

I wear it every now and then, but it gets serious competition from its fellow Seiko brothers:

My beautiful Spring Drive:

And my excellent Seiko 5 - the best value you can get: unexpectedly good finish, great durability:

And it also gets competition from my JLC:

Thanks for watching,
Guy.
