Yesterday, I got kind of intimate with this watch...

I have seen the "Fish" on previous occasions (I feel as if we are having an illicit affair) and each time I see it I am more and more blown away. I know we often speak about our watches as art for the wrist, but the Métiers d'Art Les Univers Infinis truly are pieces of art, each one of them.
The Fish, in particular, is my favorite. It is unbelievable how this watch responds to light. The shades of blue are stunning. The craftsmanship is phenomenal. The Fish is seductive on every level.
This watch requires both no time at all and all the time in the world to appreciate its beauty. During this our most recent interlude, I discovered that "Vacheron Constantin Genève" is etched onto the underside of the sapphire crystal, a subtle design element that, like the skeletonized, hands puts as little as possible between me and dial.
I have no hope of ever owning this piece, but a boy can dream can't he?
I woke up this morning and ran to my watch box only to find the Fish were not there. I was dreaming. And I will continue to dream.
Sorry for the lousy pics. I also dream of being a better photographer.
