Spotted at the Vacheron NY Boutique - Patrimony Excellence Platine pocket watch >>> Sat, 01 December 2012 10:17 Go to previous message

Hi All,

Here's something a little different - a classic, time-only pocket watch from the Excellence Platine collection. Part of the Patrimony Contemporaine product line, it's one of a limited edition of just 50 pieces.

Inside is Vacheron's manual-winding, in-house caliber 4400 released in 2008. Stamped with the Geneva Seal, a single, long mainspring provides 65 hours of operation on a full wind...

The grainy surface of the sand-blasted platinum dial gives it a very pleasing, changing character under different lighting conditions...

The case measures 43 mm in diameter and just 7.4 mm thick - barely bigger than the Patrimony Contemporaine self-winding next to it below that measures 42 mm...

Timeless elegance!

Best,

Paul
