Spell of Black Magic (BBK Carbon 48MM) Sat, 24 November 2012 20:56 Go to previous message

I am an avid rolex fan but had the chance to visit Hublot Pop-Up F1 store in singapore this past sep-F1 season. I have to say the store was well set and way cool, showed some unique watches and other signature items like the hublot Bike etc. My curosity and interest in Hublot has been increasing for last two years as i have interacted with their boutiques and marketing blitz via magazines and other print channels. I picked up the latest brochure and have been researching a little bit on the brand and have found your forum pretty informative.

Couple of weeks ago I found a nice BBK BlackMagic 48mm at my local AD. Initially, i was reluctant as i was moving from latest Rolex Deep Sea - Sea Dweller which is a large SS watch, but I have to say my current Hublot is as comfortable and very unique looking. The materials used are a good blend of ceramic, rubber and metal and overall look and finish of the watch especially carbon fiber dial is absolutely stunning. Now I am finding it hard to wear the Rolex's (daytona and deepsea) and some other large watches (cartier santos etc) that i have have in the collection, so for now its the Hublot Black magic spell.

Thought i share my .02 cents on the brand and fusion making with timezoners.

  • Agree, you rarely see a BBK in the wild. In fact I have seen none other than mine. - Rei Mahdi - Sun, 25 November 2012 04:19 (104 clicks)
