So let me see if I have this straight -- Lange invites me to Napa for their Akademie, puts me up at Meadowood, treats me to two feasts including a Michelin three-star dinner, flies a master engraver and master watchmaker from Germany to instruct me, seats me next to the company and North American Presidents for the two dinners, provides a wonderful tour of the wine-making facilities at the Napa Valley Reserve, gives me the pleasure of re-connecting with old friends and making new ones, and in general treats me like a king.
And now they send me a thank-you note and gift?
