A personal Rolex story. Tue, 30 October 2012 21:31 Go to previous message

I've had many Rolexes over the last 20 years. I love Submariners from the new to the old and always wanted a solid gold one which I obtained. I reckon that the Daytona movement is the best that's going around and if you can afford one, buy the white gold version because of it's dial variations.

GMTs and Explorers are wonderful watches too. I have had my share of 36mm Day-Dates. When the recent 41mm of Datejusts and Day-Dates were introduced I thought how hideous but then something happened. I saw one in the flesh and tried some of them on, I was transformed, the Everose was mesmerising and I was hooked.

The weight and size are substantial but very comfortable. So here it is until the Sky-dweller, white gold Sub, gold GMT, Deep-Sea or Explorer II come along next.

Have...a good..time...all the time. That's my philosphy!
