Ti Schumacher with GP forged carbon Sat, 20 October 2012 19:17 Go to previous message

Was fortunate to be able to view the Schumacher Ti and Platinum today. Pictures do not do these pieces justice. They look great in pictures and spectacular in person. They are much more vibrant and coherent in person. The interplay of the different materials and finishes comes together quite well. The Ti is my choice. As a side note in the pictures the blue of the Platinum piece always looked off to me. It person it is stunning.

I took a few quick iphone picts next to my GP forged carbon for comparison. The pusher complex is identical between the two pieces. Once I am fortunate enough to bring the Ti piece home it will be going on the Grand Prix strap with red Alcantera sides. I think this will work great with this piece and its red accents. I find the red sided GP strap too much for my Grand Prix which is why it is on rubber, for the Schumacher I feel quite the opposite. The piece itself is very understated in terms of color and I think the GP strap will add just the right amount of pop.
