Calendar 2100 Perpetual Calendar Tue, 16 October 2012 22:10 Go to previous message

The AP Calendar 2100 is not something you see very often here. This was introduced in the late 80's and was simply a perpetual calendar designed to sit on a desk. It is modelled on the original AP perpetual calendar watch that was introduced in 1978. Every day the owner pushes the button on the top of the calendar and the day/date/moon is advanced one day. The calendar is in a heavy gilt brass case measuring 4 1/2" in diameter, 5 1/2" high and 3/4" thick. There are three adjustments on the back to reset the calendar's month, day or moonphase, if needed. I have it sitting on the credenza just as I enter my study so each morning as I walk by I push the button and have the calendar move forward one day. AP must have made less than 1,000 of them over their production period but they don't come on the market too often.
