Inside Basel LA - the Panerai booth Sun, 07 October 2012 12:48 Go to previous message

Thursday night was closing night of the Inside Basel Geneva 2012 tour. The event was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles and included over 40 brand exhibitors and watchmakers. Panerai was the busiest booth of the evening and the traffic never let up for photos of the novelties. But a watchmaker flew in from Dallas for a rare glimpse of the assembly & disassembly of some Panerai in-house movements:

In-house P.9001 automatic movement with 3-day PR indicator

In-house P.2004 (column-wheel chronograph with three barrels) and P.2002 (horizontal 8-day PR indicator and three barrels)

Nice work on the bridges

A mini-Risti GTG with the watchmaker's PAM 111 and La Jolla PAM 465

I love to talk about nothing. It's the only thing I know anything about. Wilde
