Spacemaster Z-33 on the wrist Tue, 02 October 2012 15:11 Go to previous message

Thanks to the folks at Omega Las Vegas for letting me play with this one, and thanks to Joel for modeling the wrist shot :)

The red-backlit LCD dial is legible from every angle and under every lighting condition. The effect of the transreflective LCD is that the red display doesn't really glow/emit light like a standard LCD; it automatically adjusts the brightness so that it's constant in the dark or under direct sunlight. It's also viewable through night vision goggles.

The titanium case is 43mm and very light. It's also comfortable & looks pretty good on the wrist. The dedicated pilot functions include a flight log, chronograph, alarm, GMT, UTC, perpetual calendar and a countdown timer. It also has a power save function.

I love to talk about nothing. It's the only thing I know anything about. Wilde
