I've had my Tank a Vis for a while now and I've been wanting a slightly more sporty watch for about 6 months. Cartier was not in the running, but I did like the look of some of the Santos watches. I tried on the new Omega watches with the amazing coaxial calibers (9300), but on the wrist they did little for me. I briefly considered a smaller Panerai Radomir (42mm), but on a whim I tried on a two tone Calibre de Cartier (on bracelet or course) and that was that. It literally melded itself to my wrist, and would not come off, the watch is bigger than I normally like. But I love the look.
The watch is obviously Cartier, there is Cartier DNA everywhere, but in a larger sportier case. This will likely become my warm weather daily wearer. I'm very pleased, the watch gains about 5 seconds per day on the wrist (terrific) and is incredibly comfortable (also terrific) due to the way it literally wraps itself around your wrist. I'm not crazy about the ding-magnet baised Bezel, but it can't be perfect.
I took one photo of it earlier today which I'm including.
