Vacheron's exquisite finishing - another example >>> Fri, 14 September 2012 00:34 Go to previous message

Hi All,

Superb finishing is found throughout this discontinued Vacheron tourbillon wrist watch, ref. 30050, from the 1990s...

A shot of the movement...

In the next photo, I've zoomed in on the right barrel found at the 2 o'clock position in the photo above...

Of course you'll easily notice the beautifully chamfered and polished hole into which the jewel is inserted, along with the wonderfully consistent anglage rounding the edge of the bridge which secures the mainspring barrel beneath it.

But look closely at the tips of the teeth on the mainspring barrel...beautiful, mirror-polished anglage is found on every single one!

Once again, exceptional finishing down to the smallest parts. Love it!

Best,

Paul
