I returned to the AP Boutique to take some more shots of the Lionel Messi LE
Named for the famed soccer star and AP ambassador, the SS is limited to 500 pieces, and it is just phenomenal!
A special thank you as always to the people at the AP Boutique. I have many more pics to post over the next week or so, and we only have the privilege of being so close to the watches because of their help. In and out of the display cases, one piece after another. So, thank you AP!
Without further ado, the Royal Oak Chronograph Lionel Messi LE in stainless steel
Housed in the new 41mm Royal Oak case, powered by the AP 2385 movement, tantalum bezel, and gorgeous crocodile strap
The finishing is as expected from AP...refined, flawless...

You have to see this one in person. It's brilliant. Elegant. And I confess, a surprise for me. I thought the press pics showed a tastefully done piece, but maybe a bit too laid back. Sober even.
For those who have seen Messi play, the watch is the perfect parallel. It surprises without being flashy. Its appeal is explosive as he is, and retreats into elegance as quickly as he blends into the field.
It's a quiet WOW!
I hope you all get a chance to see the Messi LE. It's a horological hat trick!
