My First Grand Seiko!

We were fortunate to get a Grand Seiko (GS) AD in our area recently, and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire Grand Seiko line (this includes the Spring Drive and Ananta models as well). One retro model caught my eye, the cream dial with date, so it became my first purchase. This was not an easy decision as there were two other models, a Spring Drive "Snow Flake" dial and a blue-dialed limited edition in titanium (only 22 are coming to the U.S. of the 700).
The detail and quality of the GS line is stunning. The polish and execution is amazing at any price point, and I was told the watch will be serviced by the watchmaker who assembled it. Given the uneducated public, the GS brand is very stealth . Watch enthusiasts may appreciate it but my wife and most of our population does not have a clue about the quality of these timepieces!
