INDUSTRY NEWS – Chopard Outfits Sharon Stone in “Basic Instinct 2”

Chopard had the pleasure of being chosen as the official jeweller for the film “Basic Instinct 2” and therefore the opportunity to adorn Sharon Stone and her partners with watches, jewellery and accessories.
After viewing all of the firm’s collections, the actress chose numerous pieces to accompany her throughout the film. Three in particular captured her imagination and have become her "lucky charms".
All through the film she wears the Strada XXL watch in white gold set with diamonds, featuring a mother-of-pearl dial made specially at her request.
Similarly, she decided that her character would always wear a "thumb ring". To meet this requirement she chose two white-gold Ice Cube rings with diamonds, plus a diamond-encrusted ring sporting a heart-sized pink diamond at its center.
Her wardrobe was rounded off with, in the words of the star herself, "the most beautiful earrings ever seen", complete with diamonds and aquamarine drops.
