TZ Guidelines

Welcome to the TimeZone Vintage Forum. This is a place for enthusiasts of older timepieces to discuss watches, share information, and have a bit of fun. What is "vintage"? For the purposes of this forum we have taken a pretty wide view including watches at least 20 years old and also antique watches. Vintage watches hold a fascinating attraction for many of us. They often embody the qualities of a time gone by and not likely to be with us again. From pocket watches to the arrival of battery powered watches there is a diverse and wonderful range for the vintage enthusiast to choose from. The histories of the various watch manufacturers also provide a rich background. Appreciating vintage watches is often about much more than just the watches themselves!

When posting in this forum, please observe the TimeZone Guidelines, and these rules:

  • Be courteous and treat other forum participants with respect.

  • Please do not discuss dealers or auctions, and do not post links to websites where watches or related goods are offered for sale. Do not post direct or indirect for sale, want to buy or want to trade messages.

  • Please do not request watch valuations.

Enjoy the forum!
