It is a great pleasure for me to see the A. Lange & Söhne discussion forum growing over the years. Your passion and the amount and quality of your contributions communicated to the forum within the last 15 years has been most astonishing and overwhelming.

I am very grateful to the organizers for their initiative and huge efforts they must have put in to set up and run this forum. My special thanks is contributed to Mr. Peter Chong, whose work and great friendship to A. Lange & Söhne has made this forum such a wonderful place.

To be honest with you, when Peter started this forum, the internet was a somehow mysterious phenomena to me. It still is. Bearing in mind my advanced age and background as a member of a more than 165 year old traditional watch-making dynasty, you may kindly understand that my heart is still beating in the "old-fashioned" mechanical and analogous instead of digital way. However, I saw that this forum became a great place to inform, discuss, and entertain our customers. And I am greatly encouraged that this electronic medium of communication is right for us.

I wish all participants of the discussion forum an exchange of much useful information, enriching personal interaction, a lot of fun, and especially the consciousness of being an important member in the universe of A. Lange & Söhne.
