Dubois Depraz question Sun, 27 January 2019 12:41 Go to next message

I've searched here before asking the question, so if I missed the answer, let me know. Reluctantly I am working on a friends Breitling which has the Dubois chrono module. A part in the module is worn out and I know there are none available so. My question is does anyone know which module is a drop in for a Breitling Navi 92? It's a long shot, but I had to ask. Thank you!

DD evidently makes many chronograph movements for many sellers. The one in question for me is now working properly. My conclusion? The movement was missing a part. Once I machined the part I thought was missing, the movement works perfectly. Yes, it would have been cheaper to replace the movement, but I learned; to rely on anyone other than yourself is often futile.

Thank you, but It was for a dear friend, not me. I would have never purchased such a watch. Specifically, any watch that has a date wheel and a no date dial is ludicrous. In addition it is a "limited edition" watch. Horology is not in the least what it used to be.
