For Basel 2007, Zenith will unveil their new Gold & Titanium Defy Xtreme collection.

Defy Xtreme Tourbillon Gold & Titanium

Movement is the automatic El Primero caliber 4035SX with Tourbillon. It has 35 jewels. The train wheel bridge, chronograph and cage bridges are done in shock-absorbing Zenithium.

Functions are hour and minutes in the center, date indication positioned around the carriage. The Tourbillon carriage is positioned at 11 o’clock and makes 1 turn per minute. Central seconds-hand with a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock.

The case measures 46.5mm and is done in black titanium with screw-in guilloche push-pieces in rose gold and black titanium. The screw-in crown is also done in titanium as is the shock protector. The bezel has rose gold screw heads & cone-shaped indeces. A helium valve is located at 10 o’clock. It is water resistant to 1,000 meters.

The dial features a multi-layered see-through structure composed of shock-resistant transparent Hesalite glass, carbon fiber layer and nitrocellulosed nickel-coated dial plate. The propeller-shaped Tourbillon bridge is done in solid rose gold. The crystal is AR coated sapphire.

The bracelet is done in a high-temperature resistant gold & black titanium compound with solid titanium structure reinforced by Kevlar lateral inserts, 21 central links in rose gold, with solid black titanium triple folded clasp.

It is also available on black rubber strap and black leather strap, with rose gold tongue buckle.


Defy Xtreme Open El Primero Chronograph Gold & Titanium



Movement is the automatic El Primero caliber 4021SX with 39 jewels. Same specs as above.

Functions are hours and minutes in the center, small seconds-hand at 9 o’clock with a 3-branched hand a power reserve indicator from the hour axis, a central seconds-hand and a
30-minute counter at 3 o’clock.

Case size is the same as above (46.5mm).


Defy Xtreme Chronograph El Primero



Movement is the automatic El Primero caliber 4000SX with 31 jewels. Same specs as above.

Functions are hours and minutes in the center, small seconds counter at 9 o’clock with a date indicator at 4 ½ o’clock. Central seconds-hand for the chronograph, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock.

Case size is the same as above (46.5mm).


Defy Xtreme Power Reserve Elite Gold & Titanium



Movement is the automatic Elite caliber 685SX with 38 jewels, beating at 28,800 bph and a power reserve of 50 hours.

Functions are hours and minutes in the center, small seconds counter at 9 o’clock, date at 4 ½ o’clock and a power reserve indicator at 1 o’clock.

The case measures 43mm and is done in titanium and gold.
